Hi peeps! The IKON group gift freebies for May have gone out in-store, and they’re gorgeous! You get two pairs this month: the Sunrise Eyes in ‘summer’ (a lovely green-gold shade) and the Utopia Eyes in ‘light silver and blue’. You’ll need to join the IKON group (it’s free-to-join, just paste this link into chat and click it, then make sure you’re wearing the tag when you click the boxes).

Hi peeps! There’s a real treat waiting for you out there this weekend (and this weekend only)! Ikon Innovia has set out his new group gift at IKON: a set of gorgeous ‘Utopia’ eyes in pale mint and gold. If you’ve not heard of IKON before, then I assure you, you probably have! It’s the new name for Fashism eyes (and if you’ve been watching this blog closely you might notice that Mar’s been wearing Fashism’s ‘Sunrise’ eyes in the azure shade for some time now).

These are some of the top peepers on the grid, so you need to go grab ’em! The group is free to join, and each month’s group gift is set out in the store (pay attention now!) ONLY for the first weekend of each month, from 8pm SLT on the Friday to 8pm SLT on the Sunday. That means you’ve got until 8pm tonight (Sunday March 4th) to get these gorgeous eyeballs, so what are you waiting for?!

Make sure you join the VIP Group in the store (board is outlined in gold) and not the Subscribers Group (board is outlined in silver). Then, with your group tag activated, click the box on the floor to get your free gift.

Duck egg blue, of course! It’s the colour of this pretty little freebie dress from Garage. In fact, Mar’s entire look here is absolutely free. Most of it is from stores on Marketplace, which is Second Life’s out-world shopping site, but a couple of items are limited-time offers, and one is a lucky board freebie.

Firstly, her shape is from this freebie skin/shape pack by Imagine, on Marketplace (at least, that’s what I think the store is called, going by the creator’s profile; sorry if I got it wrong!).

Her skin is the current group freebie at AL Vulo! (paste this link into chat and click it to bring up the group window and join – it’s absolutely free – then head to the store with your group tag active and click the panel inside the little wooden shed outside).

Her hair is a freebie from A&A on Marketplace, and you can find it here. It’s a lovely, loose little up-do with a colour-change barrette. This style will only be free until February 28th 2012.

Her shoes are from the lucky boards at Baby Monkey. Head to the store and wait until the first letter of your username (that’s the name you log in with, not the display name that you can change!) comes up on either the boards or the lucky chairs, then click or sit to win!

Finally, her eyes are a freebie from Virtual Diva, here on Marketplace.

Come down off the ceiling. I’m not that scary! :p

Guess what, peeps? Frick is back! Yay! Fricka Morgath has set up shop again, and a gorgeous little Halloweeny shop it is, too, sitting in a lovely autumnal skybox surround. She currently has seven witches’ hats in the store, set out for L$1 each. Between them they contain five skins and two dresses, so hustle your orange-and-black butts over there and get hunting. It’s not difficult, and you should find them pretty easily. Also, hover your cursor over the ads in the store, because many of the skins are set for sale at cheaper prices than the ads show!

Now, Mar’s not gonna bombard you with Halloween stuff, so unless something else spookily great turns up, this is your Halloween outfit post for this year. She had a lot of fun in the sim that she visited to take these pics. It’s a great place to take your friends; full of spooky surprises!

Quick freebie fix: Halloween eyes from Amacci

Ladies and gents, hie thee to Amacci where you will find (in both the eyes section and on the big freebie wall in the hair section) two pairs of grey/brown eyes set out for free: one pair with a normal sclera (the white of the eye) and one with a completely black sclera.

You’ll land at the landing point (the store is pretty busy, so fly before you take the teleport; that way you can rise up and away from anyone idling at the landing point, instead of flailing!) then head east (following the crowd!) and go into the hair section. Just past the first wall on your right is the freebie wall, and you’ll find the eyes there. Here’s a direct link that should place a red arrow on your screen to the freebie wall.
